Reporting To:

The Shooting Club Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, operational management, and strategic development of the shooting club. The role ensures safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of shooting activities, competitions, and events, while managing financial resources, human capital, facilities, and stakeholder relationships at both local and international levels.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Leadership & Management
• Provide effective leadership and direction to all club staff, including range officers, instructors, administrative and operational teams.
• Foster a high performance culture focused on safety, professionalism, service quality, and continuous improvement.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws, safety regulations, and internal policies related to firearms and shooting activities.
2. Financial & Administrative Management
• Plan, manage, and monitor operational, project, and developmental budgets.
• Control expenditures, optimize resource utilization, and improve cost efficiency without compromising safety or service quality.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, and performance indicators for senior management.
• Enhance administrative efficiency and continuously improve operational processes.
3. Operations, Programs & Events
• Oversee all shooting range operations, training programs, competitions, leagues, and special shooting events.
• Plan and manage local and international shooting competitions, exhibitions, and related activities.
• Ensure peak operational readiness during high-demand periods, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• Supervise customer/member services to ensure a safe, professional, and positive experience for all users.
4. Firearms & Shooting Activities Expertise (Critical Requirement)
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of firearms, commonly used weapons, ammunition types, range safety standards, and shooting disciplines.
• Possess hands-on experience or in-depth practical understanding of shooting sports, competitions, and training activities.
• Be familiar with nationally and internationally recognized shooting disciplines and competition formats (e.g., Olympic)
• Ensure all shooting activities comply with safety standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Act as a technical reference for shooting related matters within the club.
5. Human Resources Management
• Manage recruitment, training, scheduling, performance evaluation, and development of staff.
• Ensure staff competency in firearms handling, safety protocols, and customer service.
6. Stakeholder Relations & Partnerships
• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulators, sponsors, suppliers, shooting clubs, and relevant local and international organizations.
• Represent the club in official meetings, events, and shooting related forums locally and internationally.
• Coordinate with governing bodies on licensing, compliance, competitions, and best practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sports Management, Security Studies, or a related field (preferred).
Experience:
• Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably within shooting clubs, sports facilities, security, military, law enforcement, or related environments.
• Demonstrated experience in financial management, including operational and project budgets.
• Strong practical experience or professional exposure to firearms, shooting ranges, and shooting competitions is essential.
• Proven experience dedicated in supervisory role is preferred

Working Conditions:
• The role requires extended and non-standard working hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays, in line with operational peaks and events.
• On-site presence is required during shooting activities, competitions, and major events.
