Senior Electrical Technician
Diploma in Electrical engineering
Experience:
Minimum 8 years Field experience in Oil & Gas, Refining, Petrochemical, fertilizer, cement, steel industry, which shall include minimum 5 years in maintenance function.
Technical Skills:
Maintenance of all types of Switchgears - 132KV, 33KV, 6.6KV, 415 V etc.
Knowledge about hazardous areas and the requirements
Maintenance of Power Transformers of size more than 50 MVA, UPS, Battery Chargers, Motors of sizes more than 5 MW, LV motors, communication system, Wireless system, elevators, EOT cranes, ESP, Generators, AVRs, VFDs, Cathodic Protection system, capacitor banks, cables etc.
Electrical safety systems, electrical isolation procedures, standards, LOTO etc.
Basic PC skills are essential
Good knowledge of technical English is essential.
Strong grasp of quality & safety standards & procedures.
